WOLFGANG SCHAUBLE HAS AGREED TO BECOME THE PRESIDENT OF THE NEW ELECTED GERMAN PARLIAMENT

The 75 years old German finance minister Wolfgang Schäuble has agreed to become the president of the new elected German Federal Parliament.
Former social-democrat labour-minister Andrea Nahles was elected by her party to be president of the social-democrat group in the new Parliament.
The president of the Christian democrat party in Bavaria, CSU, and Bavarian prime minister Horst Seehofer has been heavily criticized by several members of his party. However a decision about his future activities will be determined in November.
