VACLAV HAVEL HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD OF THE EUROPEAN COUNCIL, TO A TURKISH JURIST

The Turkish jurist Murat Arslan will get the Vaclav-Havel-human rights award of the European Council, because he promoted the independence of the Turkish justice. Mr. Arslan had been president of the association of the judges and prosecutors and is in Turkish arrest since 2016 because he would have been member of the Fethullah Gülen movement.
