THE ULTIMATUM OF THE SPANISH CENTRAL GOVERNMENT TO CATALONIA

The ultimatum of the Spanish central government to Catalonia has ended this Thursday 19th October at 10 a.m. (Spanish time). The Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy had requested from Catalonia the clarification whether it will be independent or wants to remain an autonomous part of Spain. The Catalan prime minister Mr. Puigdemont didn’t react on the ultimatum, but sent instead a letter to the prime minister Rajoy in which he repeated his request for a dialogue. Now Mr. Rajoy has extended to deadline up to Saturday.
