THE ROMANIAN POLICE CHIEF DESPESCU, DISMISSED BY THE ACTINCG PRIME-MINISTER FIFOR

On advice of the Romanian minister for interior affairs, the acting prime minister Mihai Fifor has dismissed Mr. Despescu as the police-director. New head of the Romanian police will be Catalin Ionita who previously had led the Romanian anti-corruption authority.
