A review of the German military spending

On the US president’s pressure on the NATO summit chancellor Angela Merkel has promised a review of the German military spending of more than 1,5 % of the GDP. President Trump had complained that rich states as Germany and other NATO members have paid only a fraction of the costs for their own protection against Russia.
