MEETING FOR THE FUTURE OF CATALONIA

The former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont offered to meet and talk with the Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy about the result of the Catalan elections, when the separatists won the absolute majority. That meeting would be only possible in Brusels, because of the still valid arrest warrant of the Spanish authorities against Mr. Puigdemont. However the Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy declared: the Catalan separatists have lost support in Catalonia, because they got less votes than at the elections before. He will only negotiate in ,legal conditions’ in Spain.
